It's sad that it took one year-end performance for Koreans to get it, but better late than never

I'm inclined to say no, it's not, at least in the US. I can't speak to the European/asian/latin American markets though. You can still play Gangnam Style 10 years later in the US and both younger and older generations know the dance or lyrics. Will that be the case for APT in 10 years?

 

It also has to be said….Apt is a pop song with a Korean word in it. Gangnam style is k-pop, with purely Korean verses where the English "hey sexy lady" hook doesn't play until 1:30 minutes into the song. Apt SHOULD be bigger as it has the ingredients to be bigger, but I still don't buy it.

Gangnam Style came at the time when nobody outside of Asia knew what Kpop is and no Korean artists have ever made it to global stardom. And the song was 100% in Korean. Its success was monumental and more akin to Squid Game which took the global world by storm.

 

APT is a 90% English song featuring the most popular artist in the world right now.

 

The comparison barely makes sense

Justice for Helen...although the tea lately is that she transferred to Krucialize (SM sub-label) and will debut as part of their rumored GG (or instead as a soloist).

I think there was a mistranslation of her bubble messages which made it seem like she was stopped from doing RDR.

 

I think she was just too busy with filming for her acting projects at the moment, so probably couldn't fit it all in. Still strange/disappointing that SM couldn't arrange her schedule so that she had time to participate in it though. They've been planning this anniversary concert for a long time.

main title track coming along with mini album on february 3rd

"Love me, hate me, you will never be me" should have been used in a c*nty title track for Wonyoung's debut as a soloist, not a watered down I AM 2.0 that is showing just how useless IVE has become as a group 

 

The new IVE song tries too much to be I AM 2.0.

Is okay, but I was expecting something new and better.
