Well SM dropped the ball with her solo, but behind the scenes I think there was tension for obvious reasons.

 

Then she joined H& (now called Blitzway) which isn't really an agency that functions for singers. But at her current agency BANA it's possible. Some of NewJeans' producers are also in this agency. We'll see.

 

Both Krystal and Jessica have been working on new music.

 

Considering this time 11 years ago they had just completed a mini album and MV filming which got scrapped without their fault, I'm glad they both never got discouraged.

Fun fact: not a single 4th gen group - even the ggs constantly topping MelOn - has managed to perform, let alone sell out, a stadium in Korea, which is ironic, cause Kpop stans love to clown on SKZ for not doing well on MelOn. Oh how the tables turn 

Actually, no girl group outside of BLACKPINK has managed to perform and sell out a stadium in Korea, which is insane. Only a handful of K-pop groups overall have achieved this, and the fact that SKZ are one of them is so impressive. Even without constantly topping MelOn, SKZ proved that they have a big enough Korean fanbase to sell out stadiums over there
