So Brat summer is over and Christian girl autumn has begun. I think it's time to reevaluate  Choli's album now that some time has passed. Let's compare it to some pop excellence by her mother.

 

Rebel Heart is a criminally underrated album. It's an eclectic and vulnerable body of work with a range of genres, including some light hyperpop influences (RIP Sophie). Please enjoy.

 

Brat needs no introduction here... it's a cute lil hyperpop that benefited from some very charitable reviews.

Rebel Heart for all 

Rebel Heart is Madonna's best overall album. Brat isn't good, period.

Finally some praise for RH

I enjoy some Brat songs but it's nothing compared to RH, that album is full of nuances and it's her best work post-Confessions. For me, it's a highlight in Madonna's career, it was full of visuals, full of promos/perfos and a complete round era

I think Brat is better.

Having said that, I don't really get the dislike for Rebel Heart. I think its a great album.

oh wowww Madonna winning for 3! i'm surprised lol

I obviously love 360 too but Living for Love is just IMMACULATE 

 

also if you replaced any of those three bonus tracks with either Rebel Heart or Beautiful Scars, that'd win against its opponent 

 

but yeah anyway! Brat is obviously better and more iconic, but Rebel Heart is totally underappreciated 

Brat is the album of the year, why would you compare it with Rebel Heart

Living for love as lead was so boring 

RH was rushed as hell as everything leaked, multiple times, before she even announced the album or finish it (that leakpalooza was iconic), so of course BRAT wins in quality.

Rebel Heart is a collection of 3 good songs and abysmal trash. Brat is album of the year and will forever be remembered for its excellence. 

 

Only MDNA is worse than RH.

RH album cover is more relevant and iconic than Brat era 

Rebel Heart is the worst Madonna album. Definition of boring, faceless, generic. I remember it made me unstan but then I staned again with Madame X...
