Two of the biggest female rappers of all time, which do you think is the better rapper in the following categories and why? Post songs, videos, and receipts if you like too. 

 

Better music videos, music, flow, lyrics and legacy?

 

I've loved Missy since I was a child in the 90s and like more of her songs than I do Nicki but there's no denying Nicki's talent as a rapper.  
 

So Nicki get the first option in the poll but Missy is the queen of the music videos.
 

The third option is difficult because Missy has the better legacy as she isn't controversial but besides Nicki's controversies; she's still has a hugely successful legacy that has spanned longer than most rappers, period.

Nicki by far. Actually she's better than everyone male and female combined.

I'd choose Missy, Left Eye, Lil' Kim and Eve over that annoying lady any day.

Missy kinda clears Nicki if we're being honest, especially in the MV and legacy categories.

That taste! I really hope Eve does another album, Lip Lock was so good and that album from Tambourine that got shelved was going to be so good I could just tell.

Lose Control and Pass The Dutch are some of my favorite music videos of all time, she has so many countless good videos tbh.

I agree, it's a shame Nicki kind of ruined her legacy, who knows what direction she could've taken. Things were looking so good during Barbie Tings and Chun Li and then…

Missy clears in the last two categories and if it said as an artist.. she'd clear that too, but Nicki's rapping skills.. which to me include writing, flows, and voice control.. she's taking that one. 

Nicki's best album is still weaker than Missys worst. Nicki can have 1000 different flows and still can't make music that will be comparable.

Nicki is definitely better no matter how much you hate her. Missy is overrated and if you truly think she's a better rapper I'll pray for you.

Lyrically, Nicki clears Missy. 
 

But visually, artistically, aesthetically, Missy wins. 

Nicki is the better rapper, but her music videos are garbage lol. If Nicki had not gone through the tantrums of Queen + PF2 era, her legacy would be on the path to be MILES better than Missy. Unfortunately now… Nicki's legacy are her beefs and the behavior of the stans, which is devastating cause she has REALLY good music
