It might be moderately successful depending on the quality of the song but I feel like it would be more of a Gracie Abrams situation where there's an immediate bump/peak (due to curiosity) and not much longevity. Can't imagine whatever it would be would be good tho

True but at the same time, Gracie's album is doing really well in the charts

Taylor can't fix the issue of Katy Perry.

A collab is never happening but maybe presenting the vanguard award to Katy could do something…

Taylor would never. She has too much to lose to be even remotely associated with the Dr. Luke mess. And basically zero / negative to gain 

A) Taylor would literally never, and B) Swifties notoriously don't support **** that has her name slapped on it. Ed Sheeran tried booking a hit with that flop Joker/Queen ballad, Big Red Machine's attempts to book a hit with Renegade (it went #1 in my house, but the GeePee and most Swifties said no with clarity), her B.o.B Airplanes follow up/ripoff tanked, and no one ever bothers consuming the albums (or flop Joe Alwyn movies) she'll promote on her stories 

 

We might stream once or twice, but no one would buy and no one would gaf in the long run. 

Yes, every new single by Taylor Swift would be top 5 or #1, but it would stay a Taylor Swift hit, not a successful katy perry featurin with a great artist

Swifities don't really care about Taylor features. There's a thing they have different from most fanbases. 

 

Gracie Abrams didn't have only a feature, she's opened her tour and has constant Taylor support. it's different

Post Malone didn't have only Taylor Swift, he had Cowboy Carter, Morgan Wallen (another #1 song but even bigger hit)

 

A Taylor feature would give Katy a stable song but not a smash hit nor it would generate interest for the album. 

So it's not happening but it wouldn't save her either

 

She will only damage Taylor's 

The era is doom. They can work on a single after that but 143 is dead and buried already.
