Would it work commercially? What genre do you guys think it should be? More pop or more like a house/electropop song?

 

Miley got the biggest song of 2023 and Selena the second biggest. Both had a modest hit with UTBY and SS, what's next for them? Would nostalgia play a huge card?

Not really. I mean, they're the ultimate Disney Channel stars and despite the bad press Demi got in the last few years, it looks like she's fine now. However, I don't know whether Demi and Selena are on good terms or not.

I could've seen it happening back in the 2010 Rock Mafia days, but their vocals are so different now. I'm just not sure how it would work.

220 million on Spotify in a year after having a massive hit the last year isn't impressive 💀 for both songs. But SS is even more embarrassing since it sounds like it was written in 10 mins (derogatory). A moderate hit in 2023/4 I'd say would have around 400/500 million
