I don't think she's a bad person at heart, but I do think what happened around Witness did a number on her. She went through two years of watching her career go down the toilet and having people mock her every move. She is conscious that people call her a flop. Going back to work with Luke again was an appalling and indefensible decision, but I suppose in her desperation she convinced herself it was acceptable since he wasn't convicted of any crime.

This thread is taking a bit too far. She's not a sociopath, she had a formula that worked tremendously from 2008 till 2014 and she tried to apply it in 2024. In a very tone deaf manner, but eh, I guess she was desperate to prove her stardom.
