Billie's album was received well and did/is still doing good as far as I know. However, barely anyone is praising "THE DINER", Why?

I relate to the song so so much. I really love that Billie decided to write a song from my point of view

Yes, it's literally the best song on the record. Could be a score for a Tarantino movie

One of my faves on the album, definitely under appreciated. 

It had to grow on me for a while but when it clicked it clicked! Such a banger tbh

 

it's cute but the halloween funfair ass beat is a bit much 

I think it's the type of song people either love or hate, no in between. This for some reason was the first song I was absolutely in love with on the album. I love a song that commits to storytelling from a different characters pov. I think the ppl that don't like it are thrown off by the stalker narrative.

Last month it was all I was listening to from the album. It is one of the best songs for me this year. It's like a mixture of different vibes and songs. Reminds me some of these songs, Circus, Freakshow, Mannequin. Yet it has sounds nothing like them, and is not straight up pop.

 

I'm obsessed with it and it is one of Billie's best. I love the song much and wish she'd release a video that is just as fun and twisted as the song itself.
