I honestly haven't cared about them since I was a kid, and now I kind of dread them. There's always so many unfunny memes and focus on the Olympic Games just lasts forever. It feels like athletics gets way too much praise and focus in our society.

Yes, I love the amount of variety. I never watched a skate competition, but I saw the finale yesterday at work (August is a slow month so I don't have a lot to do) and I enjoyed learning the tricks and the amount of styles that exist.

I really only care about gymnastics because I was a gymnast and swimming. I don't watch any of the other sports so I'm usually interested in the first week then stop watching after 

They're on everyday where I work and I enjoy them. Not all sports of course but most of it can be very thrilling, especially when you're rooting for your own country

I do love the Olympics. It's an event that acknowledges talent all over the world. If anything athletes don't get enough praise. They work hard for their goals and dreams. If anything it's motivational.

Having the chance to watch so many different sports in such a short time is always fun to watch.

I've never watched it because I don't like sports and I'm not patriotic. The only thing I heard about it this year was the female boxer getting attacked more than the literal child rapist that is somehow competing.

Olympics are great because you see the talent from different countries, whether it be a small one or a large one. St. Lucia got its first Gold medal ever this year and that meant a lot to some of their citizens. It just sounds like you are chronically online a bit and the Olympics conversation is bothering you. 

I don't give a single **** about them, even less than I do about the world cup or europe cup or whatever it's called and i already don't give a **** about them

Athletes get more praise than spelling bee champions and even get more praise than some actors and singers. 

yeah f those athletes for training for years to accomplish things, I think being a bitchy ATRL gay should be more celebrated and broadcasted on tv Instead.

They get praised, yet most of them can't work full time to reach their potential. Here we only have 1 medal this year so far and there's a ton of complaints, but if the country doesn't invest in proper infrastructures and football is the only sport mentioned outside the Olympics, then obviously there will be disappointing results.

Yesss love watching different types of sports played by athletes from different countries. I also like rooting for them. it's fun.

I only like watching women's gymnastics. They're incredible with what they can do. Their routines are prettier and better choreographed. Their movements are powerful and graceful looking. Simone Biles defies gravity.

Yes! You will never see me being patriotic like when I'm rooting for my country in the Olympics. The fact that a lot of male athletes are hot doesn't hurt either!

Oh? But's the most fun Olympics in a loooong time. My fave is the Turkish shooter who is a cat person. And my country got 2 gold from the same athlete, so yeah it's something to celebrate for us
