Probably the best thing that she can do from a PR pespective really is to quietly cancel the album, and come back next spring with a new project.

And no teasing, just drop a whole album. I bet everyone would be perched to listen how it sounds like after the 143 era.

I'm not even sure she likes some of her songs.

She was always like this. She was that edgy pop-rock girl who sold herself for bubblegummy hits because they sell.

The "acoustic-ish" album she's been teasing alongside 143 is probably her best (and only) move.

She needs to drop that acoustic Album but she doesn't have the range anymore :dancehall:

She should stick to her guns, Lifetimes is showing all the signs of being a moderate hit in Europe and Woman's world is resurging a little too.

Just release 143 with no promo, no tour, nothing and then comeback next year with a Max Martin produced lead single.

@KatyPrismSpirit thoughts?

it's obvi too late for this but she most definitely should NOT have announced the release of 143 as early as she did. she should've at least waited to see if Woman's World would clear.

now it's too late to go back to the drawing board… all she can do is commit and hope

for the best at this point.
