Tunnel Vision is insane oh my god that endingggg

Tunnel Vision is another smash. Have it on repeat.

Finally got around to listening to Tunnel Vision, and damn this really is going to be AOTY huh

Tunnel Vision is a masterpiece wtf. This album is going to be INCREDIBLE

Tunnel Vision is very yeule-esque, we stan. this album can't come quick enough.

There's a new snippet from "That's my floor!" on their insta.

Also, there's this acrticle/interview:

https://www.thelineofbestfit.com/features/interviews/magdalena-bay-want-to-defy-your-expectations

I remember lines from "Image" that get me hunting down timestamps: the first chorus makes a reference to "22 more minutes." A minute later, the next chorus kicks in "21 more minutes." This feels like the initiation of a countdown. So I go to check what comes 22 minutes after that first chorus and "Image." It's that back-half breakdown in "Tunnel Vision" which leads into the album's next act. It's the reboot, the "brand new image."

OH WOW

The way they refuse not to serve

Another smash and that transition into cry for me sounds nuts too

cannot wait for this tomorrow

The bridge is sickkkk on That's My Floor.

I gotta be honest, I'm not feeling this song that much like the other singles but the music video is sick af, especially the latest part with the clocks

4/4… incredible songs so far… this really could be my AOTY

This was also a great review with description of some tracks!

"The tropical-pop cut "Killing Time" starts like a cute walk on the beach, lamenting about love's privacy ("I don't care if I don't sleep / But someone better pine for me, yeah / Without love I'm without me"), counting down the days in search of romance. But suddenly it turns and devilish voices spring up to chant the wickedly catchy: "I'm looking in the mirror and swallowing the key / It only takes a minute to forget a week," half playful taunt and half genuine, existential questioning of the fabric of time."

That already made my most anticipated song

It wouldn't be a surprise to say that Magdalena Bay are two of the most creative people working in music today. With their second album, they've surpassed their first in terms of originality and sonic landscaping — though Imaginal Disk might not be full of as many pop tunes, it's certainly an artistic evolution as Tenenbaum and Lewin's writing and production shines at every corner.

Period!!

In the antithesis to Katy Perry's desperate and continuously botched roll-out for her album, Imaginal Disk's three pre-release singles are all contenders for Song of the Summer, ridiculously idiosyncratic and conceptually unique.

And Katy even catching strays here

I'm going to wait until Friday

still not ready for the slayage

caotc (conceptual album of the century)
