Gaga has 3B+ more streams than Katy as a main artist, not to mention that she VERY rarely collabs with other artists for their albums so her overall streams are pretty much the same, bragging about Katy needing a bunch of other artists to surpass Gaga isn't the drag you think it is

 

I assume you're talking about Lady Gaga stans? If so, why would we be scared? The two are in completely different lanes. As I keep having to point out, Lady Gaga's last album sold over 200k pure first week in America, while Katy Perry's last album sold 35k. Lady Gaga's last stadium tour was sold out, while Katy Perry was twerking on a toilet in Vegas struggling to sell out theater dates.

 

If her new era is a success... okay? Great. She's clearly very thirsty for it. Doesn't change the fact that she is no longer on the same level as Lady Gaga, who surpassed her years back.

Oh she definitely does scare the crap out of that fanbase and I wish I was exaggerating.

 

-the countless threads in the past two weeks after she announced new music and started serving looks and promo

-the endless circlejerking in those threads, chile the dedication and effort that I'm seeing from certain gays for Katy, if only they would redirect that energy to streaming their fave so that she won't be performing similarly to Katy despite having double the quantity of songs in her catalogue lol

-the "she's buying Twitter likes!!" coping mechanism with some random gay Reddit "investigation" as "receipts"because they couldn't even fathom the attention and engagement she's getting this era

-the "she's desperate!!!" comments when she's literally just promoting her new music and having listening parties with fans, for which we're very grateful for because this is the first time in years she's had this confidence and spontaneity back. 

…..and the list goes on and on, this is just the tip of the iceberg of things they've tried to pull these two weeks. They're still highly insecure and scared shitless, because they don't wanna imagine that she even MIGHT have a chance of coming back, even though us fans know she won't smash, that fanbase is dreading the possibility, hence the smear campaigns
