Lemonade is just that era for me

 

It's tied between these two for me.

VMA 2014.

 

To me that's the true testament to her natural star quality and charisma.
 

It's not as upbeat and energetic as a typical Beyoncé performance and she performed an entire album of mostly mid-tempos. Yet the entire performance is carried on her incredible stage presence and is so captivating and entrancing to watch. It feels quite intimate, as if you were Jay Z and she's performing for you in your living room.

 

It's brilliant. She's brilliant. No one else could've done that performance.

Off the top of my head, her Deja Vu performance at the BET Awards many years ago was god-tier 

Also her Billboard Music Awards 2011 performance of Run the World   The huge LCD screen visual aid synchronized with her choreo had me shook 


There's a lot more and it's hard to pick a single one since I do believe that she's the best living performer of our time.

It's hard for anything to top Beychella, really. It's everything great about her as a performer at peak energy. But I always loved the VMA self-titled medley performance as well, it was so artful.
