honestly atp i don't even want another Up, she can get another tiktok hit but that ain't gonna make people listen to the album, we saw that with PTTR and Flowers

she needs to make another thru your phone, even if it doesn't end up a #1 smash, it'll get those tiktok girlies interested again for CB2

but if i hear the word "DM's" or "opps" on the next single im gonna rage

Honestly rebounding will be hard... she wasted her debut momentum and went on a huge hiatus with droplets that ruined all the hype. In today's industry you need to release albums consistently, only massive and highly established acts can afford to take breaks longer than 2 years. The hiatus has damaged her streaming power hugely, she's doing around 6.7m daily which is lower than Justin Timberlake's 7m.

The last true hit she had was the glorilla feature. None of her songs/features since then have been able to stick. Instead of keep throwing feces at the wall, she needs to drop the album at this point. No point in continuing dropping singles. 

Let's see if that doja colab exists and maybe she can get another I Like It crossover hit. That's really all it takes to get in the GPs rotation again. It's really simple. Each single is doing better than the last(minus the Shakira feature) so consistency could be another pathway to a hit

Yeah, she just needs a vulnerable song. A remake of Ring The Alarm from Beyoncé will be cute if it's framed like her cursing Offset out.

Cardi is literally a novelty artist at this point I don't know why you expect her to bounce back lol

The hype is not there unless she goes hyper-viral on TikTok, she will not do it on her own. She may get FTCU-sized hit but even that seem to be a challenge for her.

It was just a little over a year before the album, come on now. IFFFF Cardi releases her album this year (keyword being IF), UP will be more than 3 years old and WAP will be close to 4 years old

Her songs have just been really unremarkable recently. Not catchy and not impressive in any other ways to make up for the former. 

 

She needs to release a song with a good hook that isn't "bong bong bong bong".

Her whole brand just feels so dated now. She should do a revamp or something.

I miss her old energy and style, this new cardi feels too obviously manufactured and the music not hitting, Punteria is that girl though chile LA CALDI
