Why did Beyonce pull a Xtina?

Please remember it’s called ‘ADVERTISING’, as in Verizon is trying to market products and services to you, during the biggest telecast of the year using the greatest Black Female Enetertainer.

It would be pretty damn stupid to announce a new album a DAY AFTER the biggest telecast of the year. It’s called ‘MARKETING’ and being smart.

Usher had a whole 13 minute set, any impact he had to make was in those 13 minutes as well as his new album most of you didn’t even listen to that came out on Friday.

What’s not clicking? :biblio:

No matter who’s doing it, it’s tacky and childish but doing it right at the same time than someone’s SB is absolutely disgusting.

Agreed!

It’s strategy.  It’s why she’s as big as she is now.  What do you expect? :ahh:

At least he released his album before SB, b/c it would’ve tanked even worse.

Im not even BeyHive.  But business is business.  :celestial5:

I have seen more comparisons/critiques to Rihanna’s SB vs. people comparing or talking about Beyonce in relation to him.

I don't get your point? It's not like she parachuted onto the field to announce her album. Usher did his thing and then Beyonce had her commercial. There were literally tons of other commercials (including one with JLo, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon) and the whole Taylor cringe spectacle so I don't get what you mean.
