Max Martin is the absolute best pop producer so yes but at the same time his previous collaboration with Gaga gave Stupid Love so I don't know

He didn’t produce Stupid Love, he only co-wrote on it.

Max Martin needs to stop saving his best songs for Taylor, Ariana and the Weeknd. Max is one of the best and it's very clear he has preferences. See his work with Katy on Witness, very mediocre or his input on Stupid Love, underwhelming. Let's hope he gives Gaga his best tunes.

Regardless of who’s producing LG7, what we need is less BloodPop involvement. Just listen to the Chromatica demos vs the final releases.

That could be said for Taylor. She's obviously very involved in her work but not for Ariana and The Weeknd. Gaga and Katy need the right melodies and production and that's Max martin's work.

Idk if it would be the best fit. Max has done some amazing work, but the last decade most of his best stuff is because other people were involved. Whether you look at the work he did for the Weeknd, Ariana or others those big smashes came from working with co-producers. So Max as main producer unless he would use his wide network of producers, would probably be hit and miss.

 

After SL I and many others would rather the two never cross paths again.

anyway Max is fine, I’d like Gaga to work with Burns as exec producer on her next dance album tho.

He's 25+ years in the game, it's time to look for new producers. Max has already given Taylor and Ariana some massive eras, do we really expect him to give Gaga one too atp?
