Should have atleast had one uptempo song for the  album pre-release.

I don't know, it's winter so it makes sense to release some moody tracks now

that's a great strategy. Many new artists wait too long to release an album after their breakout hit and end up as one hit wonders

  • Why on earth would she wait until next year??  Atrl is just as out of touch as an average 60-year old music exec it seems. Getting an album out as soon as possible is the most sensible choice by far

She really left Been Thinking off?? She doesn’t want to smash again! It was ready to pull a Die For You

That song is a HIT. I don’t know what they’re thinking.

Butterflies is the best of the 3. Truth or Dare is so boring and bland, why are they pushing that one :rip:

ToD is gonna be the Shut Up and Drive of this era anyway

Probably for single #2 when Water will have peaked on radios

I really don’t understand her strategy here. What’s the point in releasing 3 songs at once? She should’ve waited until after Christmas and picked one single. By that time Water will have probably peaked on radio too

Anyway I really like the songs. On and On is my fav

Im in the minority here but butterflies is the best song out of the 3 imo

In my eyes the move looks to be a compromise of some sorts, considering the album was originally slated for a November release. I assume her team is testing the waters to see what song people gravitate towards the most, but considering none of them really differ in tempo, the selection itself is quite confusing. It would've made more sense if they gave us another uptempo track in the mix just to actually compare the standing success to a midtempo but whatever.

On & On verses remind me of Rock the Boat by Aaliyah

Yep!!! Me too!

butterflies and on & on are very good, I can see myself going back to them

truth or dare, is a chop. feels like something they included not to alienate the Water fans

- butterfly is gorgeous

- truth or dare feels like water 2.0 which isn't necessarily a bad thing - i think it's catchy

- on and on has major Aaliyah vibes :katie2:

I love all 3! I think On and On is my favorite for now. Truth Or Dare is a bop and very catchy imo :jamming: Butterflies is gorgeous and a nice vibe

Wow, beautiful vocals, especially on Butterflies 🦋

On and On is a cute tune! The remainder is a snooze fest.

Water?

She gives me 2023 Kat DeLuna vibes but she is gorgeous and has potential to become a MPG. She can actually sing unlike Train McCrate or whatever her name is. :thing:
