I think labels are finalizing budgets for the new year. I could be wrong. I’ve seen it with other artists

Looks like she and her team are in the Bahamas so a new video is definitely imminent. Probably after the Grammys (fingers crossed she secured a performance slot).

With the way she’s always reposting TOD tik tok I think it’s going to be the second single, yup ! I would love a special African stage with Burna, Ayra, her and ASAKE & Olamide at least at the Grammys 

 

Brits noms are coming next week, so I hope that if she’s nominated she can get a performance slot too!

this is good, its time for her to push this single, it has everything "Water" has; its catchy, its fun, its overall a great song, and i think the GP will latch onto it; if she can release a great budget video, get playlisting, and get another dance trend going... she can have 2 smashes on her hands.

the iHeart Radio Awards are televised right? I would not be surprised if Tyla performs since she's nominated for a few awards. Never hurts to build more radio connections too

I wasn't too crazy over Water but TOD is IT for me, I need this one to smash 

 

Water fading does not have to be the end of the world as long as Epic plays their cards right. They now know the time is right to shift focus to the well liked follow up and Water cooling down actually lessens the chances of it getting absorbed. Artists and labels not knowing when to move on from a breakout hit dooms a lot of follow up attempts.

You would think lol but it seems a lot of newer artists get one viral hit and do the bare minimum after so it's refreshing to me to see Tyla actually to build a genuine music career of her hype

On another note, I wonder what type of artist she'll be when it comes to releases. Like will she release almost yearly for the first 7-8 years of her mainstream career like Ariana or Rihanna did? I read most of her interviews & she's so adamant/passionate about wanting to be the biggest popstar in the world. I know she's willing to put in the work.

 

She's been working on this album for 3 years  I just know it's going to be great
