I prefer S&M as a song but WAP has the more iconic video and is generally just more iconic.

WAP is everything that is wrong with female rap

 

S&M's video is kinda gross but it's a bop - no contest here 

WAP was one of the last monoculture moments we've had. It's slightly better too, but they're both great.

Why are people voting S&M more iconic

Nobody outside of ATRL would be able to name the song if you played it to them, meanwhile everyone and their mother knows what WAP stands for

WAP for all but S&M is a major bop, especially the Britney remix. My favorite hit from Loud 

without S&M there wouldn't be no WAP 

I much prefer S&M as a song but WAP has a better MV & is more iconic

S&M was banned on Youtube and in several countries + radio could only play the song after 7 pm in certain places.

 

Literally anyone can name the song what are you talking about

WAP all the way. I'm kinda surprised with the results tho, thought WAP would obliterate. Guess it's the Navy & Barbz' doing 

S&M was so effortlessly controversial and provocative without coming across tryhard
