So with a total of 5 of her own projects (should be 6 since Sheep is a mixtape, but they counted it as a track), 5 of her own tracks, and 6 projects she produced for other artists, Arca has received Best New Music inclusion from Pitchfork SIXTEEN times :flame:This makes one of the most favorably reviewed artists in Pitchfork history alongside the likes of Miles Davis, Kanye West & Prince. And she's still just getting started. Does it surprise you that miss Alejandra Ghersi achieved this feat in just a decade after her official debut?     At first glance, I can see the argument because it comes off as the safest, but it's almost as if they skipped over Araña (a career highlight) & Muñecas (another experimental diva.fm masterpiece)

     

    If I had to choose a least favorite, it would be Kick 4. It's still really strong and I respect it as an artpiece, but it doesn't excite or immerse me as much as her other projects. Although Xenomorphgirl is a MOMENT :hawkeye:

    Also I just have to say that @@@@@ and Entrañas not getting BNM is criminal when they’re her best works in my opinion :coffee2:
