I guess Paul think the OG and remix are same recordings but they are not for sure. This is basically Levitating Remix situation. Future Nostalgia won Best Pop in previous year so any single/track from the winning album is ineligible but the Remix feat. Dababy eligible because it's a new recording. Other example is Set Fire to the Train (Live).

Neither of those songs were submitted for individual nominations before the new versions though. They were just part of a nominated body of work. Calm Down was already sent last year if that was the case artists could send multiple versions of the same song in more than one ocassion?

The eligibility period for the next Grammys started in October last year, and the remix was released way before that in August
