Most Rock listeners try to limit female rock music to a pop descriptor so that doesn’t really mean anything  it’s drawing a lot from 90s Alt Rock and Power Pop - Hole, Liz Phair, That Dog, Weezer etc etc

Homeschooled is so good. 

 

This album is such a step up from SOUR. Seems like a more mature and natural progression. Really impressed.

I think she’s doing Get Him Back or Bad Idea Right at the VMAs. It’s something with her full band. Her drummer and guitar player posted about it.

I absolutely love this, such a great album!

Get Him Back is my absolute favourite and clear next single! It is also #1 on NMF UK on Spotify.

My faves: Get him back, vampire, bad idea right, All American *****, love is embarrassing, make the bed, pretty isn’t pretty, the grudge.

Basically the whole album - I still enjoy the others not mentioned too!

Listened to it all the way through again and yeah, this is a step-down "narratively" wise. The productions are crispier but I don't think it balances out with how uninteresting these tracks are thematically.
