They always do it, especially if you're a covergirl for their print edition.

Yikes. I really enjoy the album but we all expected it...

Meh, the album is full of bangers. It's not a cohesive album AT ALL and even if this dropped today and we'd never heard of the songs, we'd be a bit like "huh?" but you know what, who cares. Every single is a SMASH. Zero skips. 

 

Y'all will hype up this album in years to come, mark my words.

they have given worse albums higher scores

There’s more hard skips than good songs. Takes a lot for me to say this but it’s music with nearly zero value? No heart, individuality or X factor. She likes to shop & **** & make bangers (where are they?), woo-ah. Her brand is very juvenile, 1 dimensional & trite. Disposable, generic & replaceable. Type of music I would’ve loved at 15 only to never talk about again by 20. But she’s 30. If this is where she’s at with her emotional excavation, I’m out. She’s never gonna have anything to say, huh?

You’re very right, not everything has to be poetic art. Sometimes its great to have an album full of fun, memorable, fun to sing, fun to listen to tracks that don’t make you think too hard.

 

Unfortunately Miss Petras’ album doesn’t feature any of that.

I like it for the most part.

What’s the reason for albums to get so few critics ? Video games, movies etc all get so much more. I feel like absolutely no one cares about albums.

It depends on the artist, some get 25+ reviews for all or most of their studio albums.

Some like Demi usually get less than 10.

 

In this case it's probably for the best, the score might drop further with more reviews.

She might get 1-2 more next week, but I'm not expecting the score to go up.
