Dropping on AM

This song is doing fine, somehow stable. It’s just a lot of songs are climbing faster than her either on streaming or radio- the 3 country songs, cruel summer and the barbie songs. Predicted for another drop to #9 on the Hot 100 next week.

It keeps falling in points... Not a good sign. It means the streams are falling harder than Radio is rising. 

yeah no this song's trajectory on pop radio is weird and underwhelming, no way around it

Moved up from 13 —>8 on AM.  Good weekend streaming updates for a month in.  Pop Radio can rot. 

Y’all need to chill a bit. It’s still top 10 on both major streaming charts. Travis is also returning from a major era, with big names and his song is already losing steam during its first week. Doja’s Attention was already out by its third week coming from a HUGE era. Falling beneath Cruel Summer means nothing, since CS had been growing for a while and it’s a perfect pop song for the season. Jungkook has huge support and Olivia didn’t beat BTS with her biggest hit til date (G4U), so no way could Livies overpower the Army with a good song that hooked them (they mostly show up for the first week only when the song is bad). 

 

I think our biggest worry is radio. It’s growing, but they are clearly less excited about it than during release week. It’s not quite at home in the current top 40 format and it doesn’t seem to have any chance at crossing over. We’re also in Barbie season and pop culture attention has moved on to that, so I’d expect some of the songs from the soundtrack to surpass Vampire and peak soon. 
 

She’s doing fine and dropping a new song won’t make any difference. We need to wait the summertime songs to lose steam and Barbie season to fade.

It's not yet time for 2nd single lol. I'd say they should drop it at the end of August. Vampire is still doing fine.

I still really like this song, but now that some time has passed, it leaves me fearing that her soundscape is advancing at a pace that her songwriting can't keep up with. The instrumental is insane, but the lyrics are not only basic, but actually feel like a regression from Sour.

This is currently #8 on HAC and POP is approaching top 10 as we speak

 

#18 on radio overall and still rising

 

 

A lot of new releases are just bumping it atm in the Top 10 position in the Hot 100.

Tbh I expected to be already inside the top 10 in pop. We had flops like Jaded in the top 20. I also don’t understand why this wasn’t serviced to alternative radio… it would have made its audience larger. Its first week with the radio deal made it seem it would grow faster on radio

only Brutal made noise on Alternative. Olivia's radio base is always POP, even good 4 u wasnt sent to alternative.

This has a noise rock outro, melody changes that would fit Alt Radio unlike G4U that is a straight up pop/rock song with jangle undertones (although I think it could’ve succeeded there too). They just don’t wanna promote her on the format
