You can access midjourney through discord. No need to subscribe 

It always asks me to subscribe when I use it on discord

I do it from there but it never lets me do anything

Since Midjourney AI has a limit per account from what I know (and that is the best way to limit abuse of creating accounts non-stop to bypass limits)
