I love how she put Mermaids in the middle of original tracklist  Stunning song and its well, just wish there was more new tracks

Her standards are too high for herself IMO ... we know damn well she's sitting on at least several more gems she probs doesn't feel are worth releasing or something. Sigh - she's the artist, though, so her choice (I fear).

 

FABULOUS song but if she wanted to integrate it into the tracklist, it should have been with Daffodil or ML ... It's beyond out of place in between TB and ME

I agree, it sounds like Daffodil's sister track so that placement would make sense. I'm really happy she decided to release this but I'm sure there would be at least 5 great songs to add to the album

Exactly. It's like a combo of that plus ML turning into a dance bop by the end. It's so good but thematically I think I can see why it didn't make the cut. 

 

I was bummed this isn't the 'creep of domesticity' song she talked about a bunch. She NEVER talks about or performs songs she doesn't release, so it was interesting seeing her do that for the first time last year.

This was unnecessary for just one song, she could’ve just released it like she did with Moderation. But I’m glad we have a new fantastic song

i don't remember if it was on here or somewhere else but someone spilled saying that fundings didn't go through for an actual European tour, so she is doing festivals instead lmao
