Where does these Billie comparisons come from? Never have i listened to a Dove song and thought it sounded like Billie.

No like it's literally getting weird. Dove is clearly having an identity crisis and molding her entire aesthetic and sound to resemble Billie.

To be fair to Khalid, he's still got 50 million Spotify listeners. I didn't realise he was still so relevant. Dove's listeners are dropping hard, so hopefully this will save her. I wonder if it's a single from 'Celestial Body' or not?

That's because they need to drop an album and when releasing a single actually stick to it and promote it. Breakfast could've been another hit for her with a bigger push.

Also didn't she have a music video for bad idea done ? Where is it? This new single better come with an album announcement because they're squandering her momentum big time. Girl Like Me is the only dud because it had no bridge and final chorus. The song comes in swinging then just goes. Turned me off.

I’m unsure about a music video for Bad Idea. She did a single cover shoot for it, I don’t know if these were just scenes from the music video (like LazyBaby & Breakfast). 
 

I wouldn’t be surprised if she just randomly drops the music video for it soon tbh (if there is one). That seems to be their release strategy.

 

I honestly think a ballad single (similar to Moral Of The Story) would be great for her next. And for it to come with an album pre order too.

yes any news on that. is the album done? i could've sworn that we got a title and blurred tracklist a month ago then radio silence. a ballad to showcase her voice with much needed promo is necessary.

No news on the album yet. This new single is being released through her label, so that’s something.

 

The title is Celestial Body & we did get a blurred tracklist. It looked quite long!

 

this is actually amazing  their voices sound so nice together and those harmonies  might be my favorite of this era so far
