In The Zone was an imperial era in pop music. Me Against The Music and Everytime were part of an iconic trio of singles. Toxic truly was the cherry on top. 
 

The release of Gimme More was so troubling and problematic but the song has not aged a day and gotten better with time, and was also part of an iconic trio (Piece Of Me, Break The Ice). The other girls just weren’t doing it like Britney. 
 

I honestly can’t choose between the two.

Both are excellent pop songs so it just comes down to personal taste. 
 

I prefer Toxic.

I just love the fact that all that gimme more needed was her just stripping on a music video and the fact that her eyes look deranged there🤣

Both songs are the saving grace of the parent album especially in streaming but I’d go with Gimme more because Toxic is terrible.
