One of the biggest issues with kpop these days is that all the idols are too rich. Some are middle class but originally kpop was made of lower middle class and poor people. That's why it was so good, these people were dancing and singing for their lives! These rich kids are alright but for every Jay (Enhypen) that does the job adequately, we get a Lia (who still somehow sucks this far in)

 

 

Twice serving 4th Gen BG. Flop in everything, except for album sales and touring. A win, I guess.

yesterday twice got dragged to hell and back and today they one-upped the pinks in US album sales nnnnn this 3rd gen fan feud will never end I fear

 

the blinks and ex-blinks that keep going after each other in the name of twice are getting reductive tho

Just saw Twices album is sold at $24 at Target which is less than half of what the BP albums were  

 

So at the end of the day BP still made more money despite selling less. Especially considering dividing the sales by 4 instead of 9 kiii

I understand why blinks are so mad, blackpink used all sort of tactics to chart on Billboard, but Twice is doing it effortlessly without big streams

I don't think Lia is that bad, she would be one of the best performers of the group if she was in IVE or Aespa, but all the girls from itzy can dance. But I agree with what you are saying about idols with rich parents.

Hype Boy and OMG are the ultimate bops on crack but Ditto and Attention have that timeless feel and nostalgia touch, they are true masterpieces and are the perfect representation of winter and summer feelings

Don't do Winter, NingNing, Yujin and Gaeul like this  She'd still be bad even in those groups. But yes, now that kpop idol is seen as a cushy job where you can fashion endorsements, the level of heart/Charisma people put into their performances is down considerably.
