This is a bit slay actually. First time they sang Girls live. Giving Red Velvet & SNSD a run for their money

What annoys me with Aespa is that singing live has so little impact on their dancing bc they already don't have super high energy choreos. It should not take 6 months to hear a title track sung live

I could send a bunch of videos showing her skill, but I get why you don't like her. Her tone is unfortunately very... common. That makes people overlook her I think. Hyorin doesn't have that issue, but probably is further away from the beauty standard than Luna.

 

The two of them are the two most talented girls ever in K-pop in terms of sheer ability, and yet neither have seen much success due to visuals. Hyorin has even had great songs that should have been hits. It's sad.  I don't want to detract too much from Taeyeon's success, but she is ultimately lucky to be a petite, pale girl.

aespa instantly become more lively on stage when singing live, even Winter by like 5%

She’s literally the skinniest she’s ever been even moreso than 2015 year end. 
 

Comments like this only make sense if she was the same weight and just magically to have protruding cheekbones.

 I've always noticed that aespa is more "on" when they sing live

 

when you lipsync a performance completely, it's extremely hard to emote like you're in the moment. you feel bad for having to do it (or being told to do it), you're constantly wondering if people can tell you're lipsyncing, etc.

 

there's very little room to "have fun" and "perform" outside of just doing the dance steps and moving your mouth at the right time. when you're actually singing, you're not thinking as much, you're actually living in the moment.
