Their music isn't really for me but I think they did a lot to advance the perception of kpop in the US. Before Cupid kpop was really known for a single dated sound here. It's borderline activism I fear.

MYs are definitely the most toxic fandom in 4th gen, and have the most akgaes by far. They are only behind BP and BTS in terms of akgaes right now

It's recently much worse too because I've noticed even ShaWol who were the most tolerable BG fandom of all time are now publicly posting gay fanfictions about men in their 30s on every official post about their activities. It's getting weird.

 

The way they surpassed 5 billion on both Youtube and Spotify in the same week 

 

 

Looks like the number 5 is really their lucky number, cause they also just recently sold 5M with their recent album in their 5th year
