Honestly, nothing is gonna changed because if anything it will restrict them to go on variety shows because they take like 5 - 6 hours to filmed and idols rarely get invitations anyway. Idols spend most of their time training or rehearsing and, also I read that going on music show doesn’t count because they don’t get pay which will have no effect. Fan meet, concerts already under the hours.

Curious to see how they implemented. Surely the agencies will find any possible loophole to get through.

They don't need to work around it because the law is irrelevant to today's industry, and the substantial changes that have happened just in the past decade both in terms of protections and expectations on the part of more and more parents who see becoming a celebrity as a legitimate career choice in today's world. 

 

Remember, this whole thing came about as a kickback to Lee Seunggi after he helped campaign for some politicians, the law is more relevant to when he was a child entertainer, but that was nearly 30 years ago.

 

Thankfully there is no limitation to how hard kids can prepare for their school entrance exams, so that constant source of anxiety and depression will remain humming over there.
