im sure I’ve seen worse compilation clips of Blackpink on the pits of Twitter but you don’t see me posting them here as some kinda “oh wow BP is this talentless?” surprise question.

They barely release albums. Album sales weren't this big in 2020 when they released The Album and the Born Pink album was sold for $50 in the US. A lot of fans bought it from international online stores where it was cheaper but wouldn't get counted for the Billboard charts. Born Pink sold 1 million albums on Ktown4u across all versions. I don't know if the solos are sold in the US but even if they were it wouldn't have counted for these charts as they don't consider single albums.

Oh yeah I’m sure they are, but the idol culture is still, if not more, toxic and I don’t think there has been any change in the dynamics and underlying abuse that goes on.

It was sold for 4.99 and it was the only reason it hit 100k. Why do you people keep holding on to this $50 number as if YG didn't desperately release cheaper options after a day.
