She’s obviously not “over” and it’s likely she’ll get more hits but unlike a lot of artists I just don’t think music is really her “passion” hence the lack of output over the last few years.

I don't think she's over. CB2 is still anticipated.

She just shot herself in the foot with Hot **** and not releasing her album after WAP and UP. I’m sure she can still find success but she would be on a whole other level had her album came shortly after UP.

Nicki is a bigger flop that Cardi right now though. She can only score a hit with generic pop-rap song like Super freaky girl. All her other songs in recent years flop. If Cardi is over, then same as Nicki.

she's clearly gearing up for one last dominating era where she can check off every box. An almost Diamond certified single will be attached to her album, her first and probably only headlining tour will arrive, another #1 album, another critically acclaimed album, a hit single whenever they push a new song. etc. I also think she's going to feature a lot of lesser known artists on the album which might make them pop and make her solidify her name as a hitmaker for herself and others. These charity collabs are only the beginning i think

If someone as dusty and washed up as Nicki Minaj can get a hit in 2022, there's literally no reason why anyone else can't come back after a couple of underperformances. Cardi is still very popular with the GP and will smash with the right song.
