My favorite book literally ever, it’s absolutely brutal but I’ve never felt more immersed or connected to a story. It’s a masterpiece.

Got back into reading books this year and I’m so glad I did after feeling like I was too busy to make time for it over the last few years. It’s such a great distraction and it’s also exciting to know you can learn literally anything by picking up a book.

No, I get bored easily so I will never be able to read those 100+ pages books :jonny2:

Yes, I've read 16 books this year so far which I don't think is enough, but it's still better than the recent years I've tracked :

You can tell how I spent my lockdown in 2020. :gaycat7:

Making it my goal to read more as from next year though.

This is on top of my to-read list.  Can't wait to get wrecked. :gaycat7:

Same.  I love going to a bookstore, being surrounded by so many books, discovering new books, touching them, smelling them, buying them, placing them in the proper section of my bookshelf.  I get around to read them eventually, but I've convinced myself that buying books and reading books are separate hobbies at this point. :gaycat7:

I've never read A Little Life but I did see the stage adaptation which was an... interesting experience for sure :gaycat6:

Yes, classic literature on my commute  since we never got to read the classics in school. Going to Waterstones and supporting local book stores again has been amazing ?

Plus the Financial Times paper, and online reading via ThisisMoney, Vogue Business, MBW, FierceBio/Pharma, Mining.com, Harvard Law School blogs, and numerous newsletters like Asianometry, Codon etc.

everyone should check out Grubstakers podcast if they’re interested in finding more books which deal with political, economic and scientific leaders past present and future

Yes, but not as much as I'd like to. I really wanna get back into reading books as a daily habit. tried earlier this year but I fell off after like a month :gaycat6:

I read people's opinions and natal charts:turkey:

10-15 books/year

I definitely go through phases. Sometimes I won't touch a book for 2 months.
