Regardless of anything, Midnights sold more in 1 month than 30 sold in 1 YEAR. And it will sell much more and only widen the gap

That’s the thing, Adele doesn’t have “fans” to care about buying multiple versions, plus Taylor never deceived her fans that they’d all get tour tickets so idk where you got that from ? Adele couldn’t even outperform Taylor’s surprise, promo-less, peak-Covid era album.

Adele's vinyls are still gathering dust on store shelves so I imagine it wouldn't be much different at all

1. adele could make 100+ versions and will not sell more than 3 copies of them. she doesnt have a buying base like taylor does. 

2. most of the alternate midnights versions were signed covers with like 20k copies on each colors, so it's not a major boost in any way.

4. lady gaga was the one who released her album while bundling was still allowed. she was the one milking fans for a chance at concert tickets and bundling jockstraps for 1/5th of taylor's sales.

Adele also had different vinyl variants (no one cared about them) and Taylor did no such thing with the tour.
