Wow, this is GORGEOUS.

She sounds VERY similar to Tate on this. Not special at all.

I will genuinely never understand why Cruel Summer was not one of the original Lover singles. It's not like they had planned the pandemic/Loverfest cancellation/creation of the eras tour during the Lover era so to just let one of the most obvious smashes in her discography do nothing (while pushing one of the worst songs of her career as the lead single) was such a weird choice.

God this album was just garbage. I keep trying and it will forever just be her worst body of work.

It really does deserve justice. Remains one of her best songs.

Where's the love for this classic.
