No. Lady Gaga needed Ari and BP because despite the alleged 're-peak' claims made by the Little Monsters, ASIB was a fluke proven by her next effort Stupid Love BOMBING in every aspect. She never had any solo power which is ironic considering the whole solo thing was made up by LMs in order to diminish the accomplishments of other female popstars. Anyways, the first day streams of LMU showed that people were here for new Rihanna

Rihanna’s doing fine.  I feel like in the post-Anti hiatus, a lot of people forgot what Rihanna’s career was actually like.  Of course she was always pretty well known, but she never had the insane peaks like a Fame Monster or 1989 era.  A lot of her singles did just fine or ok.  And I think that is part of the reason she has such a legendary career.  Because few people expected her to hit a home run every time, she was given opportunities to explore sounds and release more music than other artists…which then allowed her to hit more home runs overall.
