Can’t wait! Love her ballads but it’s kinda tired as singles. Dangerous was amazing but Reckless was a choice

Can't wait  absolutely loved life support but haven't really vibed with the 2 singles from mb2 so far and this sounds completely different

Yes, she was indie then. Good In Goodbye was her first release under Epic/Sony back in 2020.

So ‘Showed Me’ is definitely in my top five on the album. It’s such a cool song and I think it really embodies this new sound that I’m going for. I’m a huge fan of like a bit older music and this song by The Turtles, called ‘You Showed Me’. I think they’re incredible and I’ve never done a sample or interpelation of any kind. And I think that playing with them in the past, they always all felt a little too on the nose or obvious, whereas this one was just a cool song I had stumbled upon and thought this could be really cool. I don't think I like it, I said the same thing about Dangerous though which I love now, but I fear for the album and what it'll be

I like it… it’s not single material and it’s very samey but the vibe and the outro really sold the song for me. If this were an album track I would have loved it and maybe it would be my fave but as a single… mmm. But she seems to not be aiming for success with this era 

Not her delivering a moody slightly-reggae chill back cute lil song, okay ma'am  Was not expecting this

 

But the chorus doesn't have the punch for a single. I fear she's not been choosing the singles very well recently
