Most remembered Beatles classic..?

Featured Replies

What song from their catalog that's worth more than $1 billion is the most remembered classic?

Abbey-Road-Cover.jpg

Strawberry Fields Forever, Michelle & All You Need Is Love are all 10/10 so those :duca:

impossible to list 1-5 tracks from them, just goes with what's on top of my head from soundtrack, mentions, casual culture facts, or notable ones.

because, come together, here comes the sun, while my guitar weeps, hey judes, i wanna hold your hands, yesterday, let it be, one of those days, please please me, etc. :michael:

oops "A Day in the Life" on 'one of those days' dont wanna edit for obvious reason

Why has no one said “Here Comes The Sun”? That’s easily their most remembered song. :rip:

Here Comes The Sun.

Let It Be.

Yesterday.

Hey Jude.

These are their top four. Nothing else comes close.

Hey Jude and Here comes the sun

i didn’t even know classics like yesterday and my guitar gentle weeps until my teens. I don’t think their slower songs are as instantly recognisable, which may surprise older gen

if you’re a British kid then Yellow submarine is iconique too

Let it Be, Hey Jude, Yesterday

Came to say this. They've got the most classics (probably only rivalled by ABBA) but these three songs are like the holy Trinity of theirs.

As someone who does not listen to them or their discography, in fact as someone who actively avoids them, the songs I know from media are Come Together, Here Comes the Sun, Let It Be, and Hey Jude.

Let It Be, Yesterday, Here Comes The Sun, She Loves You, Hey Jude, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Help!, Penny Lane

But their best songs are Strawberry Fields Forever, Julia, Something, Dear Prudence, In My Life, Girl, Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight, Here There And Everywhere, I'm Only Sleeping and She's Leaving Home :jonny: oh and A Day In The Life and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds ofc

People naming songs I’ve never even heard the TITLE of like “Help!” “Penny Lane” “While My Guitar Weeps” and “She Loves You”

:deadbanana2: How can y’all name those. There’s songs I at least know the title even though I’ve never heard the song (Like “Yesterday” and “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”) but those songs y’all are naming I am soooo unfamiliar with it’s not even funny :rip:

I agree with this. Strawberry Fields Forever is such an amazing song.

in the previous post you said you actively avoid them, maybe that affects your familiarity with their song titles :rip:

OT: it definitely comes down to Hey Jude, Yesterday, or Here Comes the Sun each for different reasons:

Hey Jude was their biggest smash chart-wise when they were at their peak

Here Comes the Sun is usually their biggest song on streaming services iirc

and Yesterday is the most covered song in the history of recorded music :jonny5:

Here Comes the Sun, Let It Be, and Hey Jude are their holy trinity let’s not lie to ourselves

You said you actively avoid their discography so why do you think your opinion on the matter holds any importance :katie:
