Neymar supports Bolsonaro

PSG forward Neymar supports right-wing president Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil’s general election

With elections looming Brazil’s incumbent president, Jair Bolsonaro, is looking for any support he can muster. Recent polling suggests his main rival, former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, has a 13 percentage point lead going into the first round of voting on Sunday.

A recent TikTok video from football icon Neymar could be the shot in the arm Bolsonaro’s campaign needs. It features the PSG winger dancing along to campaign music and slogans for his reelection campaign.

This is gonna be like the election we all thought Hillary will win cuz all the polls had her ahead by like 20 points and on election date she lost

Trash supporting trash. Can't wait for the big L he is gonna have to swallow next sunday.

i don't think this will happen. a 2nd round is likely tho, Lula needed the ""3rd party"" Ciro and Tebet's votes and i don't see it coming, they were better than him yesterday at the debate, especially Tebet, ofc. She will have her 6% sunday.

What? Polls were consistently showing Trump being within reach of Hillary :skull:

yeah u're right tbh, the "especially tebet" should've been replaced for "she was better" and not both of them.

Ciro yesterday he was truly apathetic, but did u think he lost votes for lula based on yesterday debate?

i think he lost more votes on his terrible overall angry campaign

and Lula certainly didn't win Tebet's voters yesterday, if something happened was her winning some still indecisive votes.

i'm not a Lula/PT person and i will vote for him on Sunday, i have decided this for more than 2/3 months already.

Bolsonaro's anti-democratic campaign will be way worse in a 2nd round than on a 1st round. on a 1st round he'll be against all of the senators/deputies elected so his policital support will be way smaller, but i'm not optimistic for a 1st round win

Guys, it’s all about money and businesses. He just doesn’t wanna pay the taxes he owes the brazilian government. He also owes the spanish government btw. Bolsonaro knows there’s a lot to win with his support, so he stays overlooking the shaddy businesses of his famous supporters.

She was ahead by like 3 points in most polls and had Trump within the margin of error. :rip: No one just wanted to believe Trump would win.

Hilary won the popular vote and Brazil is a democracy, so it’s about having the majority of eligible votes. There’s no weighing system like the United States. Rest assured he will lose. The question is if its in the first round on sunday or the second one and how his supporters will deal with the loss, because they are armed and spreading false narratives of frauds. They beat people til death if they are spotted wearing anything that connotes support to Lula or Worker’s Party and then act brand new that no one was wearing red on the streets while they saw many with brazilian soccer team shirts (since bolsonaro appropriated our flag as a symbol of right wing supporters, making them the only true brazilians while we are somehow not lol). laughable ****

Fellow Brazilians vote and stay indoors on sunday. Watch out for these whackos because it will be a hard pill to swallow for them and we will be scapegoats, this is especially to my fellow LGBTs and POCs

not surprised, wbk he's trash. it did crack me up that i saw on reddit/twitter football fans who somehow were shocked... i'm sure most footballers have trash politics behind closed doors.

best of luck to brazil for getting rid of bolsonaro :heart2:

honey every celeb and multi millionaire is right wing sadly. dont be fooled. most celebs are just pretending to be leftist or woke so they dont have to deal with any sort of public scrutiny. they vote in their best interest which is lower taxes and more entrepreneural freedom. why would a multi-millionaire support a politician that says stuff like "eat the rich" :rip:

Absolutely a grotesque rat. More proof there will always be class solidarity among the wealthy.

Lula is a corrupt populist, and Bolsonaro is the Brazilian Donald Trump... Brazil is scr*wed either way.

The question is: do you want to be screwed by a corrupt politician who will tank the economy (Lula) or by a pseudo-fascist who will keep undermining the democratic institutions of the country and increase hatred through his violent rhetoric (Bolsonaro)?

Brazilians should just drop him tbh, he has no fanbase outside of Brazil.
