I’m going to the Holy Land for 2 weeks in October 

 

I’ll be staying at my boyfriend’s place in Tel Aviv, but I’m also planning to go to Jerusalem, Haifa, the Dead Sea, etc. Maybe Petra as well, but it’s not set in stone yet.

 

Any things I can’t miss? Tips are also appreciated!

 

Please, no dark rooms, orgies, settlements, areas near Gaza or Lebanon, or hotbeds of terrorism

You’ve pretty much got it covered and October is a great choice because the weather’s a lot better. My favorites are: Tel Aviv’s culinary scene, Nahal Arugot which is by the Dead Sea, Jerusalem is very touristy but is worth a visit for sure. Caesarea is also cute and accessible by train. Just make sure to be in Tel Aviv once Shabbat begins because the rest of the country is practically shut down for 24 hours

I hope you're not dating an ultranationalist sis  Hope he is balanced enough to both love his country but also know its disgusting shortcomings when it comes to its treatment of Palestinians. 

Anyways, Israel-Palestine is a cool place. I'd love to go one day when Palestinians are given equal human rights there and when the constitution changes back from blatantly expressing Israel is an apartheid state with other non Jews being 2nd class citizens. 

Nazareth is beautiful if you want to see holy sites in an Arab city in Israel, Jerusalem's old city (also mostly Arab), Tel Aviv's night life I hear is amazing and also Haifa's gardens are lush and pretty. One area I think is often forgotten is the Negev desert. I think it looks pretty cool from the photos I see too if you want to see something different as a European.

Gaza is what it is, and Lebanon quite literally went from being the Middle East’s go-to place start a company to being the go-to place to start a terrorist organization.

eilat is extreamly expensive, i am israeli and i don't think it's that great

 

haifa, tel aviv and the dead sea are way more exiting in my opinion, and i'm israeli.
