I presume it started with:

4 vs Born This Way, where they were kind of head to head. Bey with her legacy & newly tapped pop potential after IASF and Gaga with the new peak. Gaga won and little monsters got cocky.

Seltitled vs Artpop. which Bey won and the Hive kept dragging her in retaliation til ASIB snatched

Coachella & ASIB where Gaga took both of Bey's "leftovers" and that became a constant drag

Shallow giving Gaga a smash making LM Cocky again. The Hive saying its just because of the film.... Then the Lion King arrived and Spirit/The Gift flopped into oblivion causing LM to drag her forever.

Chromatica failing to outperform Lemonade cause the Hive to drag Gaga again

Chromatica having a least 1 proper hit (Rain on Me) causing LM to drag Bey for not having a hit since Telephone or whatever

 

maybe jealous because more grammys, undeserved critical acclaim, etc.

LMs hate everybody. Just look in each thread.

I try not to get too involved with these stan wars but from what I gather as a liddo, delulu Beyoncé stans have never missed an opportunity to ‘remind’ monsters that Beyoncé is bigger, more talented, more succesful, etc. It has even been suggested that Gaga only gets Beyoncé’s crumbs, leftover projects, hurtful stuff like that.

 

So I think it was only natural that monsters would take this opportunity to be petty, now that Beyoncé released a bland single with a less than ideal reception. 

At the end of the day, it’s clearly just a crippling insecurity on all parties involved.

When will the hive stop acting like victims as if they dont attack and act superior to alot of bases. They've been dragging Gaga for years. They only getting what they dish out.

and I see just as many people dragging Gaga on here constantly, so it goes both ways. stan wars always happen between fanbases of MPGs, but those of us with taste like both Beyonce and Gaga

I didn’t realize the Hive and Monsters apparently disliked each other until right before BMS was released.  I like both artists and I never noticed any fighting until then?  Maybe because they’re both pop girls from the same era making similar music now?  Anyways, I think the duel is a little tired and don’t understand why we can’t just like both?
