Yes, outside of movie soundtracks, I don't think she'll ever recover and I'm not sure the GP really wants a Lady Gaga album in 2022.

the level of delusion is not even funny. To answer the OP, Gaga's latest soundtrack single is performing much than the latest soundtrack singles by britney, beyonce, billie eyelash etc. It will be in top 50 of hot 100 next week and is much better than 98-OUT. So worry about your own fav Gaga is doing fine. Chromatica just crossed 2 billion streams

Women over 35 do not get respect for new material so yea. There have been some exceptions but for the most part it always flops. And her image now is just in an odd place imo. The fun is gone. I don't think her heart is even in it.

She had the scene set to take Adele’s spot and decided to release what shouldn’t have been released. Dance ain’t happening in 2020’s like it was in the 2010’s. With that said, the fact that it managed to go platinum and the album went on to sell millions globally is not a commercial failure by any means.

It seems like she doesn't want to go completely AC. At least not with her album roll-outs, just with soundtracks so far. 

At least there's something to rebound from for GaGa

Who knows, she seemed like she was ready to go back to her old days then got completely discouraged with everything happening around the time. Even then everyone is still using her ASIB songs to this day that make up for anything that could actually flop for several years from now

gaga had both no 1 single and album in 2020, as well as multiple big movies, so no she is not a nostalgia act
