Purposefully used "return" instead of "comeback" because she really has to finish out this era someway somehow for a "comeback" to even be on the cards. 

 

All signs point to Vegas happening, but the album is kinda missing on the charts (something none of us thought possible with her of all artists). IMO, she should:

 

* Announce new Vegas dates

* Release something new musically with said announcement. Realistically a new song, giving her scope to repackage the album in a respectable non "artist looking for cheap way to revive album with a deluxe that was planned all along" way.

 

* Do the London Hyde Park dates

 

* Drop the rumored video she has in the vault for I Drink Wine. Not so much as a single, but for more era content.

 

* Release that Netflix doc

 

* Complete the Vegas dates without a hitch.

 

* Wrap up the era with a big push for the final single. Kinda uncharacteristic of era closers. But she must finish strong for the sake of her next era.

She could give the era legs if she played her cards right, but something tells me she's got some huge disagreements with her label over the way she wanted the era to go, and she is protesting by refusing to do anything and letting the era tank. I doubt she'll do the promised Vegas reschedule either.  

- Get pregnant and cancel everything. 41 out in 2029.

BUT...

 

I really need artists to see the bigger picture when it comes to label beefs. At the end of the day, it's the artists name on the marquee. The GP have no clue who most artists are signed to. They just follow the sentiment of the masses. So, she won't want to let the cement dry on how things are now. 

 

Plus, label side of the 30 promotion seemed to be fine. Apart from the fact there didn't seem to be much planned single-wise post Easy On Me (OMG should have got an equal-sized push rather than just hoping the video would carry it).

 

It all seemed to really come undone with Vegas, which is ironic given that so few of her actual fanbase or the GP were ever going to those shows to begin with. 

She needs to give us disco bops and dance. Dye her hair blonde and start making tiktoks challenges

Really want it too, as it's easily one of the best songs on a project that (IMO) isn't filled to the brim with obvious standouts.

 

But she made clear she won't sing it live because it's too emotional and too vocally demanding.

First of all she needs to reschedule all the dates from the Vegas and finish them ALL, she cannot afford to cancel them again.

Then, she needs to release IDW, the song has a video for Christ's sake, why are they releasing it?  

 

Is she still doing the festival in July in London or her lazy ass cancelled that too?

She should just reschedule the residency for the fans and go ghost again. Adele is too good for the current music industry that is run by 14-year- olds on Tik Tok. Nothing she puts out will appeal to them or the current music industry behind a hyped up first single. The business is rap dominated or eccentric with the praise of weirdos like Harry Styles and Bad Bunny for wearing wigs and dresses or the same generic male pop singers like Bieber or Drake predictably. I see why she’s unmotivated, I would be too if I were a singer-songwriter instead of a singer who was just throwing out albums full of generic pop hits that appeals to the streaming age aka kids. The truth is, if people had to buy 30, they would have. It’s a new industry, new formula and it isn’t on the side of artists like Adele, but of course people blame the “failure” of 30 on Adele and not the modern landscape.

Release Can I Get It as the third single from 30 for the summer. Make a fun video with Dave Meyers for it. Similar to P!nk.

 

Reveal a new residency with Planet Hollywood. Start it late fall. 
 

Announce a Netflix documentary about the making of the residency (both versions). Also do a concert film shot during the Hyde Park dates.

 

Release I Drink Wine as the final single from the era to coincide with the start of the new residency. Release the video same time.

 

Release both Netflix specials right before Christmas at same time.

Her public image is tarnished at this point, she can try to go to SNL and try to win some people back and/or come back with a better attitude and act grateful to her fans. Some humility will be good for her because she has become insufferable. She should also go to therapy to better understand why she is so willing to throw everything she has worked for away for a man.

Swallow her pride and do the damn Vegas residency even if it has to be in the parking lot, and offer FOR FREE a concert to the people who had already travelled to Vegas

 

Duet with Beyonce, Rihanna or Taylor as a soundtrack single (she needs another hit) this fall

 

New album in November 2023 with 24/7 mega worldwide promo, no more zoom interviews, and promo and remixes for future singles, a fully loaded era. The album itself must have  15+ songs with several major features and shorter track lengths. Go bananas with the vinyls with multiple editions and high quality artwork inside.

She slayed with slow music during the whole edm pop movement that was dominating. You can't blame the modern landscape. Her appeal was always being a true artist and DIFF from the status quo.

 

 

She killed this era, no one else but her. I don’t think anything she puts out will save it. The London gigs are going ahead aren’t they? Vegas should stay cancelled. Whoever made that decision to play there is insane. She couldn’t done what Harry is doing and picked a few cities to do a ton of nights in. 

Release the I Drink Wine MV and Radio Edit sometime this summer

Come out with a Christmas song in late fall alongside the new Vegas dates

Finish the Vegas tour and then go into hiding

1. Wrap up (revive) the current “era” with an acclaimed jazzy concert with a smoky Winehouse look, featuring fresh arrangements of All Night Parking and Cry Your Heart Out. Give the kids a different side of her than radio ballads and some viral vocal moments.

 

2. Release a companion EP to 30 (this is basic but like Club 30) featuring house-flavored remixes and some collabs to tease a new sound.
 

3. Later this year, drop Laurie Blue, a reinvention album with a new, energetic style and genre variety. I would love to see Adele’s take on UK garage, something like this beat but modern -

Not some of y'all expecting another single from 30  They might drop the IDW video but they aren't going to push another single. Adele has clearly moved on long ago.. she'll do the Vegas and London shows then come back with a new album in 5 years
