I don’t see it happening ever for her. People on this forum thought she was going to win over Xtina with Dark Horse back in 2015, I wonder if you guys were honesty trolling.

She has a chance to win Best Children's Album if she ventures into that route.  Her usual aesthetic will be perfect for it, and the narrative of being a new mother + switching genres will impress the committee.  The fact that there isn't much competition in that field will also work in her favour.

Probably not. People that far past any commercial success needs either acclaim or industry respect to snatch a win but she seemingly has none. 

She won’t even be let in the building again. It’s over for her Grammy wise, but she definitely has a few teen choice awards left in her.

No and that’s ok. There’s plenty of talented and mega successful artists that never won Grammys.

I don’t see it for her. If she couldn’t win a Grammy with her peak era Teenage Dream, she won't be able to win one now. She could try a reinvention to more mature and serious music but it is going to be a struggle because she's not an exceptional talent lyrically or vocally.

It doesn't count as a Grammy per se but it would still be quite an achievement.

You need commercial success usually to get a Grammy, and after that you usually need to demonstrate some kind of outstanding vocal talent or writing ability. The only thing Katy had going for her was the commercial success and even that’s gone now, so it would be very unlikely for her to win a Grammy now.

 

 

 

 

 

No. Remove the commercial success of teenage dreams what's left? It didn't deserve a Grammy and they were right for snubbing it.

 

If she really wants to be taken seriously she needs to start writing and producing her own quality material
