Will Harry avoid having a backlash era like Taylor?

Featured Replies

Despite receiving backlash from some Twitter users for "queerbating" and legacy acts like Noel Gallagher and Mick Jagger commenting on his artistry and image, the general public have never stopped supporting Harry. His new albums looks like a huge success already too.

Will Harry avoid experiencing a backlash era (where the GP turns against the artist and it negatively impacts their image and album sales) just like Taylor Swift has avoided having one? Taylor has always been universally loved by the GP and the media and has always served huge sales?

Some backlash eras include Madonna's Erotica, Katy Perry's Witness, Lady Gaga's Artop etc.

He is a man. He has been serving Forever 21, faceless music yet gets acclaimed. He literally does nothing on stage, gets praised. He acts yet no one criticizes that "why does a singer is trying to act?".

Where was the backlash from Jagger? :rip:

and he was in 1D previously so he had already faced backlash and continues to face criticism  from not being a seen serious act because of it

Maybe in the UK, but he hasn’t reached that level of celebrity/overexposure in the US for this to even be an issue yet. And either way, it will take more than some Twitter users complaining about him to cause a GP backlash :rip:

If Justin Bieber and his problematic ass can score the biggest hit of all the time ,STAY, no matter how many mess he has made, I think other white male artists are safe

The question is: does he have the artistry to transform that backlash into his best album?

'Cause Taylor did :clap3::clap3:

He doesn't even make listenable music right now, so I doubt that

inch resting but he has gotten more praise from other legends including Jagger.  :gaycat2:

either way twitter users don’t have the power to cancel anyone anymore  :gaycat2:

There’s a thread on Twitter with a lot of videos of him having Zionist actitudes and supporting a genocide state and nothing has happened to him, he is a man, so yes

Justin Bieber and Kanye West have lasted this long. Men can do no wrong in the eyes of the public. He might get the odd hit tweet calling him out once in a while but that will be the extent of it.

Kanye west smashed after doing all those dramas. Harry will be completely fine line.

Meh, they hate him for all the wrong reasons

logically, that's why he wouldn't have much of a backlash era

I mean..he is already succeeding and this might be his most successful era yet :toofunny3:

+That's how u know u made it

He is literally a sweetheart, doesn't have a bad attitude and hasn't attacked anyone. People are really just scrambling to find something to hate about him, so much so that they start fishing from his past

Well according to ATRL Taylor never had a backlash era.

It’s true

What backlash era did Taylor have? :deadbanana:

Of course, I wouldn’t lie.  It’s something ATRL would say.
