Anything related to Xtina is forgotten in 2022

Xtina and Fred Durst is kind of an iconic moment for the oldies of that gen, with the hating on him for performing with a pop act and him saying that he did it for "the nookie"

so there is at least that

 

(Nsync's entrance was big tho)

It's not Britney's and Em's because those made headlines so it's one of the other two.

I don't remember any of them, tbh. All of them forgotten, just like most of VMA performances (Britney/Madonna, Gaga's Paparazzi and Beyonce announcing her pregnancy are the only ones remembered in the recent times, tbh).

from the perspective of someone that was 2 when this aired... Years later I had heard about the Xtina/Britney performances + MTV 2 used to play iconic vma performances whenever the VMA's were coming around. never seen a thing about the other two 

Oops no one talked about that one and the song only peaked at #9 what a flop 

Definitely Xtina is the least remembered out of these 

Britney's is the only one that conjures a memory in my head.

Eminem and Britney clearly not… don’t know the other two but judging by the songs I would say Come On Over would be the most forgotten because girl… what a kid bopz song was that lol it’s like the Roar/ME! of 2000

You know it’s not Britney and it’s the complete opposite, so why even include her at all? This 1999 stan war still going on in 2022 is beyond delayed. There’s no need for insecurity if you’re a Britney stan. She has the numbers and the pop culture reverence. I don’t get the need for validation to prove that Xtina is washed up. If that’s the case, it shouldn’t be a conversation anymore. DMF is not an Xtina fan anyway. He starts threads to get her dragged. Open your eyes.
