"Beautiful" by Christina, her last Top 5 hit as a solo artist (all the way back in 2003), only 247M streams on Spotify and a shockingly low 136M views on YouTube.

Y'all understand that the older the 'classic' is the more it fades. There are exceptions, but overall that's the rule

I don’t really think it’s fair to throw shade

at classics from the 20th century. They basically only rack up “impressive” streaming stats if they have excellent playlisting, go viral on social media, have a big “moment” in a film / trailer, or if they have an exceptionally strong legacy (ie: Don’t Stop Believing).
