18 years ago today, Britney Spears released ‘Everytime’ as the 3rd single from her iconic era In The Zone.

 

The signature ballad was a top 15 hit on the Hot 100 and massive in Europe - peaking at #1 in the UK, and reaching top 10 in 15+ countries, peaking at #2 on the European Hot 100 and becoming the 13th biggest hit of that year in the continent.

 

It also received widespread acclaim from critics - a lyrical masterpiece that Britney helped write and she also composed the piano riff.

 

 

“Everytime” might be my favorite Britney song of all time. It’s so beautiful.

One of my favorite Britney songs and one of the best pop girl ballads tbh.

 

I fell in love again with the song after Ether Cain's cover for Spotify. She made it her own but still :jonnycat:
